6:37 a.m. - Yesterday I watched the grand children while Amber had her hair colored, then I listened to the Rockridge game - the Rockets beat Sherrard handily. Then Amber and I ventured out in the new van, so Amber could complete some errands, then we went to the Captain's Table and had a nice supper. When we came home, I watched the second semi-final game of the men's NCAA tourney. It finished with a 3-point bank shot from around halfcourt at the horn, so Gonzaga advances over UCLA. Tomorrow night's game between Gonzaga and Baylor should be another good one. So today will be eventful, as the title indicates. We will be celebrating and eating, and after last night's meal, I'm not sure how much I can eat. Maybe later this afternoon/evening if the weather cooperates, I can get some stuff out of the shed. I think tomorrow is going to be a school work day. I did sleep better last night than all of spring break....I think after having that bad cold all week, I'm finally getting to the other side of it - just in time to return to work!
8:22 a.m. - The Easter Bunny has arrived and completed his mission. The weather outside right now is the best it has been all week long, which I guess I should appreciate even though I really want to grumble. The walk around the grounds with the Easter Bunny was refreshing with the still, sunny, quiet morning weather, but it also reminded me of all the things I need to do for Spring lawncare. I hope the good weather continues this week, so I can get to some of that. I've gained a lot of weight during this Spring Break; I'm going to gain some more today. I need to go start my potatoes, so I think I'll do that now.
