4:59 a.m. - The cold weather was brutal yesterday, so I spent most of the day inside. I did venture outside to visit with mom and dad and get some hay down for mom's chores. That was enough for me, though. The afternoon featured some reading of my book and a quick nap before the Southwells arrived for a few hours. Then in the evening I watched the College Football Playoff Championship - good game with Indiana beating Miami.
Oh, I almost forgot. In the morning, I worked on finalizing our summer vacation camping trip. That was good to get done. I also did a little research on Strawberry, Arkansas, which is where the Massey family moved from many years ago. It seems that Strawberry is a lot like Edgington.
Today...back to school. It will be tough for many friends after the long weekend. I hope temps warm up a little to allow students to get outside at least for a little while.
