5:00 a.m. - Yesterday was busy during the day. When I was headed out of the garage for the morning, the dang garage door became a mess. There was a cable that was messed up, so it needed some attention. That was something that was out of my skill set, so I had to gall the garage door guy. I thought he wasn't going to be able to get here until later in the day, but he made it at 9:45, so I hustled home and met him. He deduced the problem, wrote me a price, collected my check, did the work, and headed out. He's a good guy. Then it was back to school to get there for a meeting. So before lunch, I had completed our first student council meeting, met the garage door guy, and got to another meeting. After lunch, I tried to get a few more items done, and then I had another meeting to end the day. Before getting home, I ran to Muscatine to get a haircut. And then at home, I had some supper and watched three game on the Big Ten Network Iowa, Illinois, and Michigan. The thing is, I couldn't stay awake, but it was still awesome. I was afraid I would have trouble sleeping, but that wasn't the case...I still slept through the night.
Today....I don't think I have as many meetings, and then we are off to Orion to do some officiating. While days at ICE have been rough as usual, the evening schedule has been a bit of relief after the busy schedule last week.
