7:07 a.m. - The first week of second semester is completed. It wasn't an easy week, but after being totally wiped out and staying home on Tuesday, I gradually got better. I'd say I'm up to 95%. Yesterday went okay; I was a substitute kindergarten teacher for about 15 minutes until the sub arrived. Then I had to work with a special education student that was refusing to complete a work assignment. The rest of the day went pretty smoothly. The games at AlWood last night weren't too bad, and I was able to survive with my leg not blowing out, even though I'm still not moving very well.
Today, the Harrison grandchildren are with us to start the day, and later today I have girls basketball at Monmouth-Roseville. That shouldn't be too much trouble. Monday, I don't have a game because there is a BOE meeting, and Tuesday, I'm scheduled to hopefully get a cortisone shot in my knee to see if that will help.
Let's get through today and have some time to relax before next week begins.
