6:09 a.m. - I was able to get a few things accomplished yesterday. With a fresh snow, I was able to assemble the new electric shovel that Amber gave me for a Christmas gift. It's fun to use, but I'm not sure that it's any more effective or efficient that the good old fashioned shovel I have. I'll keep playing with it to see how to use it best. Yesterday, Anne, Amber, and I did some more bus driving training practice. Mr. Strachan set up the course in the school parking lot, and we executed some practicing. I also got an appointment for my D.O.T. physical on Monday...oh what fun. MOST IMPORTANTLY, I watched Notre Dame win the Sugar Bowl and advance in the College Football Playoff. They beat Georgia, and next up is Penn State. Oh and in between bus driving practice and watching football, I went to HyVee and picked up some Blackstone food supplies and stopped my mom and dad's house to help out with a dead chicken.
Today? Hmmm....I'm going to try to exercise a bit. The leg still isn't feeling very good, but I have to try to strengthen it up. The Harrisons will be arriving sometime to spend the night. In between, I hope to get to reading that book. Oh, and sometime I need to check mouse traps. I looked and looked for the missing trap yesterday, and I can't find the dang thing.
