9:50 a.m. - This cold I have is the worst it has been this morning. My head is all sorts of stuffed up. It's a good day just to stay in and watch the Rose Bowl Parade and some football. My guess is that I'll have to go to the casino some time, but that time will be limited.
Yesterday, something did find me like I figured it would. We ended up practicing bus driving. Anne, Amber, and I all took a bus into the DMV and practiced the driving route. Then we practiced backing up at the school afterwords. It was nice of Jessi and Shawn and Kristi to take time to do that with us. Then I went and checked mouse traps (killed 2) in the camper. Then later we went to Shawn's house for a little New Year's Eve get-together. Amber and I didn't last long...we went home at halftime of the football game that was on television, and then Amber went to bed and I fell asleep watching the second half. For some odd reason I woke up at 12:01 - Happy New Year to me!
