5:49 a.m. - That old wind really kicked up overnight. Maybe it was the wind that caused me to dream that we had no school today.
Yesterday started with singing at church for the Christmas program. After that, we took the Harrisons to see Santa at the Reynolds Fire Station. Well, I sat in the van with Luke because he didn't want to go see Santa. In fact, we was just mad that he wasn't with his dad. Then we came home and did some hanging out at Gigi's house. Before Kenzie arrived, Santa and the Grinch drove past the house in the firetrucks, so that was exciting. After that I went to visit my parents only to figure out that with all the activity of the day, I forgot my dad's birthday. So I'll take both mom and dad's presents to them on Wednesday if I don't end up having a game. After spending about an hour with them, I came back home to continue the package wrapping job. I have everything wrapped that is currently here. Wait, sometime during the day, I made a run into HyVee for some gift certificates and lottery tickets and a few grocery items. That was a busy day.
Today is the even day of semester exams. So I start out with second period, and that's good because of all the class periods, that's the toughest group - get them done and out. Tonight, we are at Riverdale for what will likely be highly competitive Monday night girls basketball. And we have a different partner...Tony and I are with Byron Hendrix tonight.
