6:09 a.m. - I was really tired yesterday - sleepy tired. Despite that, I was able to visit with Cole for awhile. I skipped church to get some quiet time after spending a little time with the Southwell grandchildren. So during my quiet time, I jumped in the hot tub, stretched, and worked out a little. After that, I started wrapping some xmas gifts and then I went and got Cole. When we both returned back, Brinley and Brooklyn were here, and soon after Luke arrived. Cole and I played chess, in which he won every game handily. And we also played some Texas Hold-Em poker, which confused me. And then we played the matching game with Brooklyn and Brinley. I took him home, and it was really a nice visit without any problems - something I was concentrating on. After getting back again, I sat and watched some television with the Harrison kids, and I struggled to keep my eyes open. After they left, I basically fell to sleep watching football. I missed the entire first half of the Sunday night game, and I was worried that I might not be able to sleep. I did go ahead and wrap a few more presents, but then I went to bed and slept soundly all night and slept longer than normal this morning. I guess I was just tired.
This week's officiating schedule is busy, but it's not really bad. All the games are south or southeast. On Friday, Tony, Marcus, Shawn, and I will all be at United at the same time, so we'll be able to stop afterwords and have beverage together.
The big story will be school work. The end of the semester is fast approaching, and I have a lot of work to complete. I didn't complete anything over the weekend, so this week at school will be busy. That's not a bad thing. I'd rather be busy than bored.
