5:54 a.m. - A 12-game week (2 each day Monday through Saturday) is a long week. And yesterday the week went out with a bang. We had two tough games - one at 1:30 between UT and Galesburg girls and the other at 7 between Sterling and Harlem boys. The afternoon game was Galesburg's Coach Massey's 1,000th win. That's just a mind blowing accomplishment. The other game was a dang track meet. I'm ready for a break today.
We got some snow last night, so I'm looking forward to grabbing a cup of coffee and soaking in the hot tub in the snowflakes this morning. Of course I'll probably have to play hot tub tennis ball with Sailor, but that's okay. I don't know what the rest of the day is going to bring. I'd like to keep my feet up and relax, and I'd also like to do something with Amber. I guess we'll see what the day brings.
