5:40 a.m. - We made it through another long week.  Yesterday was activity day - survived it.  Then it was professional development time - survived it.  Then it was officiate junior high girls basketball - survived it.  Between activity day and professional development, I got the Eagle all hooked up and ready to go.  Within basketball officiating, I got to spend some time with Marcus.  So when you have lemons, there is always room for a little lemonade.  

Today the day will be a little long.  We need to practice some speeches for first period public speaking, and then we need to watch an example video of a speech and score it with the English III courses.  And then I need to supervise decorating for the dance in the north gym during seventh period.

Before I leave for work, I'm going to try to have everything loaded up for my camping weekend - clothes, and food items we are taking, and any other necessary stuff.  And if I forget something, we won't be very far away.  I just want to get to my chair near a warm fire on a cool fall night with a beverage in my hand - experiencing the simple life at a campground!

• Enter remaining Khan scores Sunday - prepositions and conjunctions
• Schedule Thursday's Khan test in classroom
• Share Rocket Closet stuff next learning lab
• Friday 9-30 supervise 7th period in gym
• look into a new textbook for English III
• Oct. 3 - next EN101 check in day

• get the button on my basketball officiating pants sewn back on
• get partners for Nov. 11 & 18 scrimmages at MonRose
