6:03 a.m. - Yesterday went okay...as expected, my attempt to really prepare students for the little upcoming speech activity was met with lukewarm responses from most of the students.  The day went fine, though.  Last night I worked with a new official at Mercer County Junior High.  He did fine, and he'll be okay if he sticks with it.  He just doesn't have enough experience yet.  Then I got a message to switch sites for volleyball tonight.  I really don't care....Mercer County or Erie...doesn't really matter...I just need the two schools and my assignor to be okay with the switch, and I don't think it's my job to check with all of those folks.

The weather is still looking good for this weekend...I'm hoping to get the camper out somewhere.

Today the dress up day is country club versus country.  I think I will go with the country look.  

The temperature is the coldest of the year so far.  On my morning walk I'm going to need an extra layer, a hat, and maybe even some gloves.
