5:54 a.m. - It's the first full day of Fall, and the temps feel like it.  It's chilly...may throw on some sweat pants for the morning walk.  Last night's junior high girls basketball games at Knoxville were brutal.  Combined scores of the two games, Knoxville 96, AlWood 7.  In the seventh grade game, most of the AlWood girls had never played basketball in a game.  In the eighth grade game, the AlWood girls were out of control to the point that the first quarter took 37 minutes - I even called an intentional foul.  It was a tough way and a long drive to make $75.  And I would still rather do that than officiate volleyball.

This has been another long week, but it is Friday.  Unfortunately I don't get my prep period today as apparently we can't find subs, so I have to supervise Ms. Kapraun's class fifth period.  I'll make sure to take my book.  Fortunately, I caught up on my grading activities yesterday, so I should be able to get through the day without too much difficulty.

• schedule Khan next set of exercises - preposition and conjunction
• look into a new textbook for English III
