Friday, December 24 - Merry Christmas Eve!

7:11 a.m. - Yesterday I was able to get some projects done around the house heading into today's big day.  I was able to get to the eye doctor, took a walk at Black Hawk State Park, worked on adjusting my shower, worked on changing the furnace humidifier, tried the spray stuff in the storage room, visited with my parents, watched my favorite Christmas show, and had the best salad of greens to eat that I've had in a long time.  Oh, and I went shopping too, and filled up my car with gas.

Today, the grandchildren will be arriving around 8:30, so Amber is making some breakfast goodies, and I need to take out the garbage and get some chairs from the basement and do a few other things before taking a shower and getting myself ready.  After Amber's clan, my three kids will arrive, and then all of us will head to Grandma Cathy's for some celebration.  Yup, it's going to be a festive day with lots of family and eats! Ho! Ho! Ho!
