6:34 a.m. - Friday, Friday, Friday.  And I've already started my day by responding to a student email complaining that I "gave her" a zero when she has been absent.  It's ironic that students can check their grades to see grades entered but can't seem to check the daily agenda and complete work.  

Last night's games were exhausting to officiate.  Bad basketball takes FOREVER....lots of whistles, lots of fouls, lots of free throws, lots of players falling, lots of missed shots, etc...  Tonight I'm at Riverdale, and it will be ugly again because both teams have some jackwagons for players.  And then tomorrow, I'm working lower level games with neither of my regular partners.  

On top of all that, I'm hearing that the weekend will likely be full of grandchildren.  

So while, today is Friday, that doesn't necessarily mean rest and relaxation awaits me.
