5:29 a.m. - Last night the Rockridge BOE took it upon itself to defy the mask mandate currently under guidance by the State of Illinois.  I sent an email to a BOE member asking him to let the disagreement play out in Illinois courts, but apparently that avenue to seek judgement isn't good enough.  No one wants to wear masks; most people agree it's not fair for Illinois to wear masks when surrounding states aren't doing so.  Unfortunately, though, the message being sent to our students doesn't make my job teaching them any easier.  The message, as I see it, if you don't like something, just don't do it.  

Last night we had a great game at Mercer County.  Tonight I'm at Davenport North.  Just survive the day.  Oh...today is an in-service day.  I despise most in-service days.
