7:26 a.m. - Internet wasn't working earlier this morning, so I got some other stuff done.  The main "stuff" was to get the garbage and recycle out.  In fact, the garbage truck just came by.  

No officiating last night, but I was still busy - a good busy, though.  I started out by burning off the weeds in the back of the house.  That had been on my mind for awhile, so getting that done was good.  Then I accompanied Derick Hofer in transporting the music department trailer to my parents' barn for winter storage.  He didn't think it was going to work, but we got it in there.  Next, Cole visited the farm with his car, and I helped him get access to his hood and the oil.  He'd been running the car on very low oil for awhile after getting in an accident.  Fortunately, he didn't burn up the motor, but "fixing" the issue (for now) wasn't really that big of a deal.  Now the car has oil in it, and he knows how to get the hood open if needed.  After that job, Cole and I visited with my mom and dad, and we even played three games of cribbage.

Cole's home with oil in his car; Chase is working; and I think Carmen's health is improving.  I'm headed to Orion tonight to officiate.  Lesson plans for English III are completed.  I've got a little to do with the Public Speaking course when I get to school in a few minutes, but that's not urgent stuff.   All-in-all this Thursday day is looking good so far.
