5:53 a.m. - I worked middle school boys basketball at Orion with Shawn yesterday.  I hadn't worked junior high boys in a long time.  I'm not going to say it was wonderful going back to those days, but working with Shawn while doing it was nice.  Today we hustle out of school to get to Cuba, Illinois to officiate high school girls.  I'm meeting Marcus in Aledo, and together we will make the long trip.  I just hope to get back home before midnight.  Today at school we will start the film Smoke Signals, and that will make life easier on me.  We are basically on the "downhill slide" of first semester.  We'll wrap up the Indigenous Americans unit before Christmas and begin the African Slave unit after Christmas.
