Thursday, May 28

7:53 a.m. -- It's a rain day today, so I'm thankful that yesterday I got the yard mowed, and I installed the garden fence and put grass clippings around the plants.  The "garden" is looking pretty impressive at this point, but gardens always look impressive early on...before weeds get a chance to invade.  I purchased about $50 of fencing supplies to make it work, and it passed the Sophie test at least for the moment.  My hope is that once everything is grown up I can take the fence down, and it may not last long anyway if the fencing guys need to work through it to make the repairs that are scheduled.  Today's agenda is not only affected by rain, but it's also affected by Amber working at Shivers from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.  I'm sensing the good possibility of a nap.  It's possible, some garage clean-up might occur, but I'm going to have to generate some energy.  I haven't quite gotten my weight down to where I was thinking I would be....I didn't lose any weight yesterday, which was surprising, but that's kind of how things work.  Sometimes there are plateaus, so maybe my body is just hanging onto the weight for some reason.  With just a little nudge I can get to 50 lbs. lost on the intermittent fasting protocol, so I just have to be patient.  I've lost nine pounds since starting at FedEx Ground, so the plan to use that job to continue the downward weight has been successful.
