4:12 p.m. - Today I mowed the yard, trimmed the yard, and weed-wacked the ditch.  I'm tired, and I think I'm going to relax the rest of the day.

Things that I NOW think about with the coronavirus. (5/9)

Something I heard yesterday seemed to wrap up recent thoughts - "survival of the fittest".  This was mentioned in a story concerning businesses, but it seems to apply to people too.  Perhaps as a country we have "bent the curve" enough to now adopt the philosophy of survival of the fittest.  I hope we don't end up regretting this approach.

• February 29 was the first reported positive case in Illinois. 
• March 20, there were 585 reported positive cases.

• Results today showed continuing flattening numbers.  This has been a trend this week - more tests completed, slow decrease in % of positive cases, but flat percentage of folks who are dying.

Things I Could Do or Need to Do In the Future

• Weed and feed the front yard.
• Paint the shed.
• Replace seals and gaskets in the pool motor.
• Fix the ditch.
• Figure out the truck spare tire.
• Organize the west wall of the garage.
