2020 - E-Learning - Day 26

6:44 a.m. - Today I woke up to see that I received a direct deposit overnight from FedEx Ground for $121.35.  I'm not sure how many days that includes.  If it's just last Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, then maybe that's okay?  I think that would be about 11 hours total.  So the next deposit should be around maybe $300?  I'll be honest, that's not would I would be bringing in if I was umpiring, but at least it's something.  I haven't heard yet about the future of summer softball - either USA or Iowa high school softball.  As of now, June 15 is my first Iowa softball game I still have on my schedule.

This morning I weighed in at 215 lbs.  I ate lunch yesterday instead of supper, and I was able to avoid eating anything after getting back from my FedEx Ground shift.  211.8 lbs is my record back on February 23, and it's been a long time since my weight was 215.  These numbers are further indication at how activity is important for me...or eating less, which I struggle with.  Plus, yesterday I had a big salad with my lunch, which has proven yet again that intermittent fasting isn't enough...amount of food and the type of food is important as well.  I need to continue to work on reformatting my behaviors when it comes to the amount of food and type of food I eat when days feature less activity.

Things that I NOW think about with the coronavirus. (5/8)
This was the first week of states beginning to ease stay-at-home restrictions, so we are still a week or two away from another surge in cases.   A story on the news talked about the strain of the pandemic on business owners, and one business owner said it's been six weeks.  Here's my question...what is the percentage of established businesses that had saved three months of expenses for unforeseen circumstances?  I wonder if businesses will consider this.  Plus, it seems like "opening the economy" depends on people SPENDING money....maybe people should first start SAVING money.
