Thursday, June 11

6:42 a.m. - I don't believe a word that falls from President Trump's mouth - not one word.  Isn't it horrible that we have a President that is that horrible.  I know I don't have a whole lot of life left, but I hope I don't experience some president like him for the rest of my life.  And he still has over two years to continue to damage the country, fatten his wallet, and pardon anyone and everyone who have assisted him in being such a criminal.

Yesterday was a hodge-podge day.  I got to physical therapy and got on an elliptical, which was good to see.  (My knee sure is stiff today because of it.)  Then the weather forecast was for storms around noon, so I wanted to get home and work on the camper; in the process I forgot to drop off the clothes I have weeded out of my closets at Goodwill.  So I picked up a ladder at school and worked on the camper, and then I headed back to Moline to drop off the clothes, and then I went out to IC Elementary.  There wasn't much to do there, but I tried to accomplish a few things.  Then it was back home - some supper, some laundry, some dishes, and then attempt to watch the NBA Finals.  The Knicks won, and I think they are the better team, even though the big kid from the Spurs may be the most impacting basketball player I've ever seen.  It's amazing how athletic he is and skilled he is at his height.

And the lowlight of the day...I have been called into jury duty....CRAP!

So today, I have to be at the courthouse by 8 a.m. to report and do my civic duty.  I guess that will determine the rest of my day, and I had an admin meeting scheduled for 9 a.m.  The weather forecast is calling for more rounds of storms today, including a lot of rain and perhaps severe thunderstorms and tornadoes.  So I guess I'm not sure what today is going to bring.
