Monday, June 1

5:50 a.m. - For some reason my entry didn't get saved yesterday, so this will be a Saturday and Sunday recap.  Saturday featured watching two baseball games - Luke in the morning and Tucker in the afternoon.  I did get the yard work project started, getting the flower garden prepped and starting to get rid of the weeds along the chain linked fencing.  Kollyns was with us, so there was some time spent with her as well.  We wrapped up the night by having some ice cream down at Shivers and Shakes with Kollyns, Karrigan, Jack, and Rhonda.

Yesterday was even more yard work.  And it was also a day of periodic rain showers.  I did manage to get all the chain link fence cleared, and I was able to fire up the weed wacker and use it a little.  When the rains came, I went to mom and dad's and visited with them around noon.  Even though I had already had a couple of hamburgers at home, mom convinced me to have a little fried chicken she was making.  we had a nice visit, and then it was back to yard work.  The big accomplishment in the afternoon was trimming all the shrubs and getting the clippings cleared.  That was not easy, and it was slow work with the left knee still not back to full strength.  I did slug it out and got it done.  Amber was busy all day - first helping out Kourtney with they move efforts, and then driving to Orion to help Karrigan.

I have physical therapy this morning, and then I'm at IC Elementary for a day there.  I think one of the new teachers is going to be visiting.  On the way home, I heed to pick up a part for the downstairs bathroom.  I tried to fix it yesterday, but I think I just need to try a different part and see if it works.  I'm not sure what is on the schedule this evening.
