6:14 a.m. - Tomorrow this time, we'll be headed to the hospital to get the dang left knee corrected!  The wait is almost over.

Yesterday was a good day with a horrible lowlight.  The plan was to go to Fort Madison and see Caleb, Carmen, and Tyler, and then stop in Illinois City on the way home and watch Tucker's baseball team.  The low light was that the pool is dead.  I was trying to brush it, and the liner ripped open.  That's going to be a big battle.  We knew the liner needed replaced, but I didn't envision this happening.  

Today is a day for work and then birthday parties.  I need to get yard mowed and some weeds sprayed, and some other things done.  One thing I don't have to do, unfortunately, is work on the pool.  I also need to get to my mom's and help her with some things.

I just want to be able to focus on enduring the pain and discomfort I know is coming and get through it as successfully as possible to return to normal as soon as possible.  And I would like to do that and have everything go okay at IC Elementary, so I don't have many problems to deal with when I get back there.

• send any IEP notices to Mrs. Saey

• schedule dentist appointment when able
• register for IHSA stuff - after May 1
• renew my teaching license can start doing it on April 1 (AA should be in as of 4/24)
• complete SEL online course
• use Dick's gift certificate
• a hood light switch for the Ford

• May 4 - surgery on left knee at Trinity Moline
• arrive at hospital by 6:45 a.m.
