6:04 a.m. - Yesterday was a good day. The morning didn't start so well, as Amber forced me to do some work in the basement. I attempted to remove caulk from that downstairs shower. I must have done it well enough because Shawn apparently arrived and did the job later after I had left. My games yesterday at Wethersfield and Geneseo went well. It was good to work with Jason and Tad in the evening game. After the game, we went and had a little supper and a beverage.
Today is the wonderful holiday of Thanksgiving. I'll make some mashed potatoes this morning and get them to my mom and dad's. We are starting off at Kourtney's house for Amber's side of the family for lunch. Then, we are headed to my parents' sometime after that for the evening. It will be a day of conversation, food, football, and hopefully playing some cards. I also hope to see my kids at some point. No basketball today, but that doesn't mean I haven't been working on it. I was busy this morning trying to do some things - sent rating reminders to coaches, figured out updated travel plans for tomorrow, and accepted new games that had been posted. The basketball official never rests during this time of the year.
