5:13 a.m. - Oh we made it to Friday. It's been a long week. We'll get through today, and then I'll go with Marcus to Monmouth later today, and then we'll have some supper at Papa's. That's the goal today - make it to Papa's.
Yesterday went fine. Yesterday afternoon at Washington Junior High was eventful. Both games came down to the last shot of the game. There's nothing quite like two rival junior high boys teams playing each other in a packed little gymnasium. Washington won the seventh grade game; Wilson won the eighth grade game. Late in the eighth grade game I fell. The ball was coming at me, the floor was slippery, and I was near the Wilson bench in the corner of the gym. Falling down happens, but it's still embarrassing. I wasn't hurt or anything, but it was comical to see the old fat man on the floor.
