Friday, November 17

5:59 a.m. - Yesterday school went great for a Tropical Thursday.  We got a journal write in and then answered some questions on a Google Form over Indigenous passages in the textbook - our ancient textbook that has a total of eight pages of Indigenous literature.  That's another issue for another entry.  Last night's game was a tough one.  Sterling girls have improved a lot, but the Knoxville girls came to play.  I had my first technical foul of the early season, and the action may have earned an ejection, but I didn't do that.  In the second half, Sterling eventually wore them down and pulled away, but we had to be on our game the entire time.  This was the first night with Marcus and Tony and I together as a crew, and we did a good job. 

Today it's a finally Friday, and it's been a long week.  Next week is a 2-day week, so it's nice to get this week out of the way.  Next week doesn't slow down at all, but it won't be because of school.  The boys basketball season starts with games, and I think we have more games next week than we had this week.  Speaking of boys, I get my first boys action tonight, but it's just a scrimmage at Monmouth-Roseville.  It's still good to get some boys work in before next week.  Let's have today go smoothly.  I'm going to start a video today, and it's a bit crude, but it accomplishes what I want to accomplish.
