Sunday, April 2

7:43 a.m. - Of course the weather is going to be beautiful today...after all, I was supposed to be camping, but Friday and Saturday were horrible.  So now Mother Nature is going to give me a beautiful Sunday before rain and storms are back in the forecast...geez!

Yesterday...the Harrison girls were here, so we played awhile.  And I read my book and watched a little basketball before we headed to my mom's saddle club trivia night.  The event went really well for them...the room was full.  And our little team that included Greg, Georgia, and Georgia's dad and me and Amber - we got second place!  Amber had to leave early, though, because she wasn't feeling well.

Today I want to get a strength train session in the basement...then probably going to go to the farm and visit with Darren and maybe just maybe hook up the hitch to the truck.  Then I may work on the garage and break out the grill to get it out of the garage.  I'd like to spend a little time outside to get some sun and fresh air.

Things to do for school

  • receive visit confirmation from EICC,
  • check into costs of Fahrenheit 451 graphic novels
  • work on research paper prompt
    • Write an argument in which you select an historical figure you have encountered so far in English III or U.S. History that would prove to be an effective leader for the United States in 2023. In your argument include research of relevant background information of your selected individual, as well as her/his effective leadership traits (and if you believe those traits would translate to today's modern challenges).
