7:15 a.m. - Yesterday was sort of a "lazy day" but not a bad day. Today, I think after I get up and have some exercise I am going to get a COVID booster shot. I'm just thinking that if I'm going to return to teaching and officiating that I should get the booster now. Later today I'm supposed to meet Braeden and talk volleyball officiating.
In other news, former President Trump once again made history. This time a federal search warrant was executed on his home in Florida. Watching the coverage of news media and news entertainment media outlets was comical. FoxNews hosts are going crazy as are some of the former president's closest and most loyal Republican allies. Of course the spin is that this is a political move against a potential political opponent. Of course Mr. Trump is the victim AGAIN. And this means, of course, that he will attempt to raise funds off of the experience. According to the news reports, the primary purpose for the search warrant revolves around Mr. Trump's handling of classified documents taken from the White House. What no one is expressing is surprised that former President Trump would do something like this.
7:12 p.m. update - Good day - I went and filled up the HHR with gas, and I got my COVID booster at Walgreens. It wasn't easy, though, I had to make an appointment online and then come back in an hour and then finally get the damn booster. Now if this one is like the last booster, I'll feel like crap tomorrow. After the shot I came home and attempted to take the volleyball officiating IHSA test. I didn't score high enough, so now I have to take the damn test again and pay $15, and I have to wait until next week - geez. After that failure I mowed the yard and had an epic battle with the push more. That dang thing is a royal pain in the ass. I changed the air filter and inserted a new spark plug...finally I was able to finish the trim. I think I will sleep well tonight, as long as that vaccine doesn't make me sick.
My weight today....240.4 - ugh. I have no one to blame but myself.
Supper - Finished leftovers of roasted pork chop and mashed potatoes and had to toasted tomato, cheese, lettuce, and ham sandwiches. I also ate the rest of the tomato, a cucumber, and a couple of small pieces of banana cake and a small brownie. I know this sounds like a lot, but it sounds like more than it was, and there were a lot of veggies.
