6:19 a.m. - We got through Day 1 of the 22-23 school year yesterday. The bigger size of the classroom, gives an impression of a more relaxed environment - at least that's what it feels like to me. Maybe, though, it's just the different group of students. I really like my schedule, as most of the day is in the morning, and the afternoon will give me a good amount of time to get things completed. After school yesterday, Tucker and Rosie were over at the house for a couple of hours, and then Amber and I finished watching season two of Stranger Things. This is a Netflix series, and it's a little like Goonies meets X-Files. Today is garbage day, so I need to get that accomplished, then the school day, then I'm off to Cambridge for a little junior high softball. The weather is supposed to continue to be cooler today, so that helps. Is it possible the 90-degree weather days are done for the summer?
