6:24 a.m. - Wow...we got a lot of rain last night, so I'm glad I got the backyard mowed and the neighbors' weeds down. On the other hand, I bet there is a mess on the fence line between him and the Nelsons. I didn't get much sleep due to all of the rain and storms, so I hope I can get through what will be a long day today, which will be a full day of talking in front of students and then trying to look over profiles that have been turned in and then a full night of volleyball officiating in Wilton, which I'm totally unprepared for. With rest and relaxation of a long weekend comes much to do when the week starts - pay me now or pay me later, right?
9:03 p.m. - I survived first night of officiating volleyball for the season. It's just so different than what I'm use to, and I never really played organize volleyball, so seeing and understanding the game doesn't come natural to me. I don't think I'm really doing much volleyball, though, so I should be able to limp through it. The weather has turned rather crappy this week...almost felt like basketball weather leaving the gym tonight from Wilton. Today has been a bit of a busy day. I think I'll read my book a little and turn in for hopefully some better sleep tonight.

Things that I NOW think about with the coronavirus. (9/8)
There was a message sent out to the community that a high school student has tested positive for the virus. I have two students that were changed to "remote but still hybrid but not absent" status, which means it was one of them, or they have been quarantined because they had close contact with someone else. I fear we will soon need a separate list of all students that have been quarantined.

a heart of faith, that I may abide in the spirit.
Amen
