Saturday, Sept. 26

5:14 pm.  - Happy Birthday Carmen Bizarri!  We had lunch at Olive Garden and Amber and my mom and Mrs. Mitola and her husband joined us.  It was a nice time, and I got Carmen and Mrs. Mitola together because they are both student teaching in high school English, and it's eerie scary how much they remind me of each other.  After lunch, Amber made me go grocery shopping, and then it was back home to hit the mower and get some grass mowed.  Now that's done, and I think Greg is coming over to hang out for a bit.  We haven't seen each other in awhile, so it will be nice to visit.  Oh did I mention that today started at 4:30 a.m. with Brinley and Brooklyn and Jay playing and watching kids shows.  Yup, the granddaughters spent the night and decided to wake up early.  I did manage to get Brinley to lay down and we took about an hour nap, so we got a little back, but I'm still really tired.

- get Association new enrollment forms collected and sent with updated roster

- check students' emails to me

- check Khan Academy Pronouns scores and enter into Lumen

- post Khan Academy modifier activities

Things I Could Do or Need to Do In the Future

• lunch with Carmen and Mitola's Saturday
• 5 games at USSSA Muscatine beginning at 10:40 a.m.
• Paint the shed.
• Continue working on restoring the channel of the ditch.
• Replace seals and gaskets in the pool motor. - AFTER POOL CLOSING

There was a bigger number of reported cases in Rock Island County than I've seen in awhile.  Hospitalizations were up as well.

• February 29 was the first reported positive case in Illinois. 
• March 20, there were 585 reported positive cases.
• As of May 29 (3 months), there were 120,260 positive cases and 5,390 deaths.
• As of June 29 (4 months), there were 142, 461 positive cases and 6,902 deaths.
• As of July 31 (5 months), there were 178,837 positive cases and 7,495 deaths.
• As of August 29 (6 months), there were 231,363 positive cases and 8,008 deaths.
