Things that I NOW think about with the coronavirus. (9/1)
I'm struggling in my brain a bit...is does our school/community really not think the virus is a meaningful threat to our students and staff, so we are just following the rules of the state to get as many students back to school as possible? Or do we acknowledge it's a threat but believe getting as many students to school as possible is more important than the possible risks of the virus? I could basically "broadcast" each lesson each day from my classroom if the district wanted; I wouldn't be very good at it right now, but I would get better at it. And the vast majority of our students likely would be able to receive the delivered broadcast remotely. So why not keep those students away from each other to increase safety and only have students come to school who otherwise could not access the broadcast? Our parents/guardians sending their students to school when they really don't have to because they just want to get the students out of the house?

Prayer for My Heart
Holy Spirit...
Help me have...
a pure heart, that I may see;a humble heart, that I may hear;
a heart of love, that I may serve;
a heart of faith, that I may abide in the spirit.
Amen
