5:08 a.m. - Today I'm headed to Bloomington for the weekend.  There is an officials conference, and Shawn is getting recognized as track official of the year.  I'm looking forward to heading out, but I'm worried about the left slide and it's slide wiper.  I'm afraid it's going to fail, which means I'll have to figure something out to replace it.  I guess we'll see.

Yesterday was a decent day.  I mowed the yard in the morning and then put in some office hours after that.  The work day culminated with an appointment with rep at Edwards Creative.  It was fine, but I didn't need a whole tour of the facility as part of the sales pitch.  On the way home, I stopped by mom and dad's for a visit. Then at home I watched some television and started reading a new book.  I've been interested in learning about Andrew Johnson, as he took over after Lincoln was assassinated.  

Let's see how today goes!
