6:09 a.m. - Yesterday had me at IC Elementary after a walk in the morning.  I needed to get three interviews completed for the PreK aide opening that exists, and Mrs. Olson was there to help me.  The three interviews went well, and I have a clear picture of the offers we went to extend to the candidates we preferred for the positions we have open.  I got some other things done too in between the interviews.   Once I got home the Harrisons and Kollyns were already here.  Soon Jack and Rhonda, Mom and Dad, and the Workmans arrived to have some pizza with us and, yes, sing happy birthday to the old guy.  I enjoyed the German chocolate cake; plus Karrigan brought me a turtle shake from Shivers.  We also had some Casey's pizza for supper and Rhonda brought some green beans.  I finished the night after everyone left with watching some World Cup soccer.  I think Argentina beat England, which means it will be Argentina and Spain in the final on Sunday. 

Today...I need to get a couple of things done at IC Elementary, but I really need to get back home and get some things done - yard, weeds, camper, pool, etc...   Let's see how much I can get done today.

• get display project completed
• finalize placement of schools on district map
• periodically add to the RR group history report
• periodically check on mail at post office
• update attendance each week in SDS
• send any IEP notices to Mrs. Saey
