5:14 a.m. - Yesterday went okay. I got some things done at IC Elementary, and I even rode my bike back and forth to the office. When I got home, I made a trip over to LeClaire to try to get Amber's bike fixed, but that didn't work out. A part has to be ordered for it, so we didn't get it over there in time. On the way back home I filled the tanks in the Ford with diesel fuel, and that was a big hit to the checkbook. Thank you DJT for the regenerated war with Iran to drive up fuel prices once again. Then I went from there to try to get some liquid chlorine for the pool, but Sentry pool had run out of chlorine. Huh? A pool company running out of chlorine? So the afternoon was a bit of a battle. No, I wasn't done yet. Then I needed to attend the BOE meeting down at Andalusia Fire Station. There wasn't any big deal with that, and I ended up capping off the day with a shake a Shivers!
And today? I need to get some things done, but it's a day that no "big things" are on the day's schedule that I know of. This is the last day of my age being in my 50's...ugh. Tomorrow I'll be sixty - SIXTY! How in the hell did that happen?
