5:14 a.m. - Yesterday featured Caleb's birthday party. Mom joined Amber and me in driving down to Fort Madison to help him celebrate. He sure seemed to enjoy it. We stopped by the casino on our way back and slipped some coin in the slot machines - no winners. It was a long day, and we got back around 9 p.m. - just in time to watch the second half of England getting a World Cup win over Mexico. Earlier in the day I did get in my hour of exercise, but I ate too much food throughout the day. I really need to get to slimming down. Too much of my life involves eating just to be social or to be appreciative of others that have made food for a meal.
Today I'm headed to Matherville to meet with someone who has some Rockridge History artifacts. Then I'm going to he to the IC Elementary office. I hope it's a quiet day. Tonight, USA plays Belgium.
