7:30 a.m. - Thanks to the tireless efforts of Gigi Amber, the Bizarri house survived the Southwell grandchildren staycation. The kids were fine; I'm just old and don't have the energy and patience level that I once had. Plus, getting around slowly with a cane doesn't help matters.
Yesterday, the show choir and jazz band gave a performance for about an hour at ICE...it was fun seeing former students. Then students had a healthy dose of PE/recess afterwards before starting their day. I'm a little perplexed with the FFA choice of Rocket Gardens...they planted flowers. Last year they planted popcorn and that didn't take much work at all...but flowers? They were already dying by yesterday afternoon, so I had to water the damn flowers. And who is going to pull weeds? I don't mind beautification projects and learning experiences, but I really don't want those things adding to the work I already have.
Today is another PT appointment. I wonder if I'll ride the stationary bike again today. I hope so; I want to test out the right new knee and the left old Achilles tendon. I think the rest of the day - HOPEFULLY - should be uneventful. I'm going to stop and check on mom and dad on my way home from PT to ICE. Maybe I'll pick up some McDonald's for them.
