7:21 a.m. - I woke up around 4 a.m., but I knew I need to get more rest, so I had some breakfast and took my pills and a Tylenol and went back to sleep. So now I'm awake for the day. And what a day difference the weather is. Sheesh it's windy and cold outside right now. It will be good weather to mow the yard, but I won't be spraying any weeds.
Yesterday was another rough one at ICE. Apparently the rest of the school year is just going to feature weird things that will require putting out fires on an hour-by-hour basis. Things have happened this week that I haven't expressed and won't - just weird stuff.
I have some other little things that I can get done today as well. We do have a couple of birthday parties we need to get to, and I think Tucker has a game. Amber spent the last night at Karrigan's taking care of Kollyns and their three dogs. She's spent more time taking care of other families this week, and I'm sure she's wearing down.
I really need to do well with exercise and elevation of my leg this weekend. My recovery has been slower than necessary because I'm not able to do those things like I should while working at school. I need to get through this week and have a little more flexibility with my time in order to really adhere to my recovery.
