Thursday, October 15

5:27 a.m. - Lily was up and walking around last night, so I decided to finally get up around 4:30 a.m. and just start my day.  My brain is troubled, and sleep doesn't come easy this week.  On better news, I was able to give away those huge stage/studio lights that had been sitting around in my back room storage area at school.  A teacher from Burlington High School came and picked them up last night.  He said he was going to use them with his students to help teach lighting and stage production, so I felt good about seeing them put to some kind of use.  In reality, it also felt good to get them gone.  I'm still not sure about camping this weekend...it's suppose to be cold and windy, even though Saturday looks decent with temps forecast to get to 66 degrees.  On the other hand, I will be umpiring next weekend, and the following weekend is Halloween.   The temps for the first weekend of November are suggesting mid-50's for highs, which is doable.  I think I'm talking myself into camping this weekend, even if I have to bundle up a little more.

4:19 p.m. - Today was productive; now I'm soon off to officiate my last volleyball match of the Iowa season.  It will be nice to get that out of the way and take those items out of the HHR.   I still didn't make the decision to reserve a campsite, but I can still do that tomorrow.
