Sunday, Oct. 4

9:54 - We went camping with the Strachans in Keithsburg this past weekend.  Friday night was beautiful, but Saturday was a "rain day".  We dealt with it, though, and still had a nice time.  I made what I hoped was going to be campfire stew, but it turned out to be campfire vegetable beef soup.  The soup turned out really good, though, so I was only mildly disappointed.  Because of the rain we set up our yard awning over the campfire, which ended up working pretty well.  The Keithsburg campground is definitely one that fits us...it's cheap, and it is pretty spacious.  Because it's on the Mississippi River, it's also a bit unique.

I'm already thinking about camping this coming weekend, but there are some things that may get in the way - volleyball officiating on Saturday and softball umpiring on Sunday.  The weather is suppose to be good, so maybe I'll just do those things and still go camping - especially since its a holiday weekend with Monday being Columbus Day.

Things to do for school

- add extra credit homework for journal share

- get letter to Lum ready

- get changes to RTA continuous membership list completed and sent with new members enrollment forms

Things I Could Do or Need to Do In the Future

• Write out Edgington water bill
• Print out and pay Country Companies bill
• Winterize and cover the pool.
• Winterize the trailer.
• Fix the washers game.
• Load firewood into the truck.
• Learn how to mouse-proof the trailer.
