Friday, October 9

6:41 a.m. - I hooked the trailer up last night and was going to get a camping spot for this nice weather this weekend.  I had called Loud Thunder earlier in the day and discovered there were no sites left there.  So I thought I would try West Lake, as I just wanted something close.  So I called West Lake around 4:30 p.m. and was told there were about 15 sites left.  No problem, right?  Hook up the trailer and get over there, so I did.  And when I got there, all the sites were full.  UGH!  So I drove my pride and enthusiasm back home.  And there the JayFlight sits in the front yard ready to go with nowhere to go.  Later today, I'll be backing it back into the parking spot next to the house.  Dang it anyway!  Well, it's Friday, I can always focus on that.

3:44 p.m. - Friday afternoon, and the Harrison girls and Amber went to the store and are bringing back supper.  I'm going to try to get a few things done while they are gone, including backing the trailer up on my own, which will be a miracle if I am able to do it.  Then I think I will either run out to Loud Thunder and check on the mower possibility, or I will take the empty jugs of antifreeze into Milan to the recycle place.

Things I Could Do or Need to Do In the Future

  • Winterize the trailer.
  • Wash the trailer.
  • Fix the washers game.
Things that I NOW think about with the coronavirus. (10/8)
Hospitalization was higher today than recent past days...hasn't gone up to 400 in awhile.  I hope it was just a quick bump that will drop again this weekend.
