3:25 a.m. - I can't sleep. Actually, my sleep has been all messed up recently. Last night I had a bout of food poisoning, and I was up sick around 2:00 a.m. So I was tired from that and fell to sleep early last night, so I woke up today around 2:00 a.m. again and can't get back to sleep. So rather than lay there, I just got up and started typing here.
As the title suggests, it's Cole's birthday. He's 20 today, I think. I know I should know that, and I'm pretty sure he's 20. I'm going to go with it. The virus thing has put the kabosh to parties, but I did send him a check for his birthday, and he got it.
I'm heading to Indiana with Greg today. He has to pick something up, and he was looking for some company, so I have to be at his house at 6 a.m. With that in mind, I'm not sure I will go back to sleep. He say's we are going to be back by 3, but that sounds a little quick. It will be good to get out of the house and spend some time with him, as the past few weeks haven't been around other folks much other than immediate family. I feel good accompanying him, since last year about this time, he helped me drive out to Colorado to get Chase. I worry a little being around Greg because he has had heart issues in the past, so he's an "underlying health issues" candidate. If I was a carrier, I could get him really sick.
6:18 p.m. - The trip to Indiana went quickly and without difficulty; the part he was picking up was for his pontoon boat. I stopped at Jersey Mike's for sandwiches, but they weren't really all that good. I'm really tired, but I'm trying to hold off sleeping until later, so hopefully I can sleep all night and don't weigh 230 lbs tomorrow morning.
