6:28 a.m. It snowed again! The ground is covered, but I don't think there is as much snow as a couple of days ago, which makes sense. Forecasting snow must be difficult, because the weather forecasters have seemed to get the totals wrong fairly consistently this winter. It's a wet snow, so it's coating the trees and bushes, so it is pretty. The temps really aren't that bad, so I think I'm going to be able to get outside and take a good walk or jog.
Today, a big announcement is suppose to be made regarding whether or not Illinois K-12 schools will return for the school year. Missouri has closed for the year, and now Wisconsin has done the same. Illinois is now part of a state consortium regarding plans for restriction rollbacks, and I think Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, and Ohio are part of that group as well Michigan had already canceled face-to-face instruction for the school year, so it appears likely that the Illinois Governor will have that order today.
10:26 p.m. - There was an event at the school today where teachers were asked to line up their cars, the lights were turned on at the football and softball fields, and students and parents and community members were honking and waiving. This came on the heels when the governor said the school closure will extend to the rest of the year, so e-learning is here to stay. I got a lot done, but no research papers were scored...maybe tomorrow. The Harrison girls are over tonight, so we get to play grandparents for a sleepover. And with that, I'm headed to bed.

FoxNews is now beating the drum that the virus was caused by the Chinese, particularly a lab in the Wuhan province. And I was just watching someone chastising the "left wing media" for not reporting it. Plus, another party responsible with the World Health Organization, and in fact President Trump has said the U.S. is going to suspend funding support of the organization. I hope this blame game helps, but I don't really know how to react. Would it anger me to know that China attempted to downplay the situation? Didn't the U.S. do that? Or were the Chinese as ignorant and unknowing as much as the United States was.
More protests have been seen...now in Minnesota. People are pushing for the country easing the restrictions...do they think their states really want to have these restrictions? I think I'm reminded that people can be really, really stupid.
