2020 - E-Learning - Day 13

5:40 p.m. - The walking poles arrived today.  I tried them out, and I struggled.  I think I get the idea, but it's going to take some practice to feel comfortable with them.  When I got back from my attempt, I watched some videos again, and that helped too.  I think I purchased a cheaper pair of poles, so the grip isn't as advanced as more expensive poles.  I thing I'm going to try my biking gloves with them and see if that helps.

Things that I NOW think about with the coronavirus. (4/20)

There's a risk.  A former FDA administrator was interviewed on the Today Show, and I appreciate what he said.  He commented that until widespread testing, a tracing process, and a vaccine are available, relaxing social distancing restrictions is a risk.  When people protest the restrictions, what they should be saying is that they are comfortable with health risk in order to return to work.  I'm okay with people taking that stance, as long as those people are okay with others that are unwilling to take that risk because of their health concerns for themselves or their family members.
