10:19 a.m. - We had a nice evening last night after watching Illinois beat Iowa and advancing to the Big Ten Tourney Championship game (today at 2:30).  We went out to Chili's and had supper with Chase, Chase's friend Miranda, and Carmen.  Then everyone except Carmen went to Rhythm City and played some slots.  Earlier in the day I had video chatted with Cole, so yesterday was a day I got to spend a little time with each of the kids, and that is always a good day.  On today's agenda is what hopefully will be relaxation with productivity.  Apparently it's supposed to snow tomorrow....oh, I could definitely take a Spring snow day on a Monday!

7:55 a.m. - Well, I ended up working two games last night instead of one, but that was the last night of high school basketball.  Today, I just want to sit and watch the Big Ten Tournament...that's my only requirement...whatever else happens is fine.  I think Amber and I may go have supper and head to a casino.  Maybe I'll take Sophie for a walk.  I'm not doing anything with school stuff; that can wait until tomorrow.

6:35 a.m. - I had nothing to do but sit around the house last night.  Wow, that was nice.  And tonight, I'll head to Orion for my last basketball game of the abbreviated 20-21 season.  Today, I'm going to try to figure out how the heck to follow the directive of overflow students out of my classroom in order to keep only 8 in the classroom.  I've been thinking about it, and I just haven't yet figured out the plan.  I would like to start the plan with students who most need to remain in the classroom, and then rotate the remaining students on a weekly basis.  Unfortunately, there will be disagreement about who most need to remain in the classroom, and who doesn't.  And then there will be students who want to head out of the classroom with their buddies.  And then have to somehow try to read all of them.  On the other hand, what if I introduced the agenda first, and then we broke apart, and then I picked up class from there?  Or what if I posted the overflow students on the agenda for each day...then I would have a record of it.  It's going to be a mess.  This new thing for the rest of the school year, though, solidifies my decision to cancel the training path presenter series as I have done it in the past.  I wonder if the reps would be willing to create a video to send to me.
