5:09 a.m. - Yesterday went okay.  The administrator academy was a bit disappointing, but it was better than others.  None of the other five participants attending knew about Gettysburg or had ever been there, including the facilitator.  In fact, the presentation/information was based on the film Gettysburg, not the Battle of Gettysburg.  And the film is only loosely base on the actual event.  So the whole thing was corny - using YouTube clips from the film to just offer examples of leadership things that were the content of the information.  On the other hand, I got credit for an academy; they fed us a Jimmy John's lunch, and it ended two hours early.  Getting done early allowed me to get home in time to join Amber.  We took Kollyns home, and then we went to supper and casino for her birthday.  Supper was at Texas Roadhouse, and then we went to Rhythm City Casino.  We weren't big winners, but the evening is what Amber wanted for her birthday, so that's what counts.  

I'm not sure what today is going to be.  I'm supposed to attend some type of "event" with the other administrators in the district, but I'm not sure what that's supposed to look like.  I guess I just show up and see what happens.
