5:11 a.m. - Yesterday was perhaps the longest school day of the year so far. I've now learned that Christmas program day is a challenging one. I was happy for Ms. Winn on her first Christmas program of her career. She did a masterful job. We had a little bit of a "bump" to start the kindergarten session, when a young friend puked just after my welcome introduction to the audience. Some quick thinking and puke dry helped clean that up, and the show proceeded after that without any additional major problems.
Today I'd just like to get through the day. I don't have officiating tonight, and I need to complete some additional DMV practice tests. And when am I ever going to get some Christmas shopping done?
