Saturday, December 14

6:12 a.m. - Yesterday was a blur.

• Start the school day with two teachers and a para that we couldn't find subs for.
• Teach PE to elementary students - 3 sessions at 20 minutes each with grade level sections combined.
• Help a students change clothes.
• Welcome high school students that are part of Tour of Champions and help supervise ICE students getting autographs.
• Attempt to work with a kindergarten student who just can't seem to function with other students.
• (Welcome students to school and help dismiss students from school in overalls because of freezing temperatures.)
• (Start the day with a kindergarten student vomiting in a classroom.)
• Drive to Silvis to attempt to complete my bus driving written tests.
• Fail two tests and schedule another appointment to attempt again, passing this time.
• Grab a sandwich at Jimmy Johns
• Meet Amber at the hospital in Silvis to see Karrigan's baby, she's a tadpole.
• Drive back home and have Amber pick me up to go to Joy to watch a Christmas program.
• Drive back home and crash in the spare bedroom, watch some basketball, and ice my ankle.

Today, right now we are in an ice storm warning.  I'm supposed to have games at United Township and Eastland....not sure if those games will be happening.  I won't be disappointed if they are postponed or canceled.  The ice is supposed to stop this afternoon, so I guess I'll just get the generator out and prepared for use in case we have some power problems.

• Enter game/teams into IHSA "my schedule" each day/week.
• Put Uncle Gus stuff in camper
