6:44 a.m. - Geez it's a long drive to Cuba.  On the other hand, the game wasn't too bad.  It was the first game of the year for one of the teams, so the players were out of control.  Needless to say, the first few minutes was a jumbled up hectic mess.  We got through it, though, and I had good partners, which was great.  That evening followed up a simple day but for one incident.  Amber's blood pressure spiked for some reason, so I ended up taking her to the ER to get check out.  The blood pressure came back down to normal range, and the blood work showed low potassium, but other than that no other problems appeared.  She said she had a headache, and she was advised to check in with her cardiologist.  In the end, she appears to be okay.

Today is a basketball day.  I have a game at 2 p.m. at Wethersfield followed by two games at Geneseo in the evening.  Just another day in life and times of Jay Bizarri.  Shawn, I, and Marcus are going to get together this morning to work with Marcus on his basketball officiating promotion test...hopefully we can put our brains together and help him out.
