5:58 a.m. - The weekend in Lee County, Iowa, was fantastic. The weather was perfect; the campground was perfect; getting to see Carmen and Tyler for three days in a row was perfect. I really, really didn't want to come home yesterday. I did some hiking; we went to a couple of fall orchards; we had some fun cooking on the Blackstone; it all just worked out as planned. Yesterday after returning the Eagle, I went and picked up some antifreeze for the pool. That's a project that is going to be coming up soon, but I now have all the chemicals I need. Then after that trip to Menard's, Amber and I went out to Kourtney's new home. That's quite a place. After Kourtney's we drove out to Kenzie's new place...also quite a place. I'll talk more about those later because I have a granddog that stayed with us last night, and she thinks we need to go for a walk this morning.
